- Functional configuration and maintenance of SAP/Oracle Financial Applications
- 2nd & 3rd line support for the organisation’s suite of applications
- [For Team Lead/Manager/above] Lead and mentor a production support team
- Master data maintenance and security access administration
- Strong experience with Data Governance, Data architecture, Data Modelling, Mapping and Analysis
- Support business users: respond to inquiries, assist with ad hoc requests; conduct training/knowledge transfer where needed
- Taking ownership of reported incidents, investigating and resolving where possible
- Liaise with IT/vendor partners in escalating issues and managing the resolution thereof.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders until issues/request are resolved and closed
- Partner with business users and IT teams on a routine basis by providing functional expertise, management reporting and advice on improvements.
- Change management: support and manage end-users’ change requests from initiation to production deployment; coordinate testing and status updates with IT and business teams
- Participate in weekend support and around key deployments and business continuity (disaster recovery) exercises
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Drive internal continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Update and maintain core documentation outlining production and operational support processes

- Degree in Computer Studies/Information Systems
- 5-8 years of working experience as an IT Business Analyst or IT Financial Application Analyst
- TOIEC: >550
- Intermediate – Advanced data Query knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL, Python)
- Intermediate – Advanced Reporting Visualisation Tools (Power BI, OBIEE, Tableau)
- Basic – Intermediate Programming knowledge (VBA, Power Automate)
- [For Team Lead/Manager] Experienced managing a small team of 4 to 6 with strong organizational skill, communication and interpersonal skill
- Good problem solving and people management skill
- Previous experience in an IT/Functional Support role with solid working knowledge of SAP/Oracle Financials Cloud - GL, FA, AP, FAH modules is highly desired. Candidate possess strong domain knowledge in Finance ERP enterprise software solutions will be considered
- Financial accounting experience or exposure a plus
- Good technical expertise in technology and associated applications to understand the end-to-end transaction/data flows across applications
- ITIL V3 Foundation a plus
- Able to multi-task in a complex production environment and quickly acquire broad knowledge of applications.
- Self-starter with confidence to drive issues resolution through to completion in highly pressured environment
- Strong problem management and problem investigation skills with ability to learn new skills quickly to value add in problem focus areas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hands on experience in managing and executing tasks and deliverables in the following elements of a project lifecycle:
- Design
- Build/Configuration
- Training
- Testing
- Deploy
- Support
