1. Overall responsibility of Part Production management including new tool development and regular maintenance activities
2. To ensure timely completion of new Tools & Fixture development and Production of Plastic, Stamping & Die Casting Parts as per plan
3. Evaluation and technical feasibility study of new Tools, Injection Molding Machine & Press
4. Address and resolve clarifications and modifications sought in designs of new Tool development and ensure that the necessary changes are implemented in the manufacturing process
5. Ensure preparation of annual budget and plan for capital expenditure as capacity increase or technology updating in line with market condition
6. Integrate and use other Production facilities for on time delivery and optimum usage of available capacity
7. To ensure the OEE as per company target
8. To ensure no Assy Line stoppage due to Part shortage by Part Production
9. Inspection and trial of tools given by customer for mass. production
10. Preventive Maintenance of Tool & Machine as per plan
11. Ensure exposure / training of new technology to sub-ordinates
12. Implement standardization (as far as possible) for tools, jigs, fixture manufacturing
13. Ensure proper maintenance of drawings, documents and sample
14. Supervision of staff and regular appraisal/feedback for improvement
15. Conduct design review before start of new tool manufacturing to capture input for improvement
16. Ensure adherence to QUALITY - systems
17. Timely preparation of MIS Part Production department
18. Approve drawings of Tool, Jigs & Fixture
19. To ensure the Quality of Parts and PPM as per company target
20. To monitor rejection handling
21. To monitor department expenditure as per Budget
22. If required Undertake development from outside product development schedule
23. Motivate department members for 5 S and KAIZEN activity
24. To generate Environmental related issues / awareness among all employees in the department
25. To identified training needs related to EMS in the department
26. To control the environmental significant aspect of department activities
27. Responsible for compliance to Environmental Policy, Objective & target and EMPs

1. Introduction of New Types tooling methods, Jigs Fixtures etc. (Technology improvement) for mistake proofing.
2. Decision for tool manufacturing (In-house/Bought out).
3. Final Approval of Tool, jig, fixture Designs
4. Selection and recruitment of manpower
5. Approval of leaves as per policy
6. Re-imbursement of conveyance voucher as per company policy
7. Approval for Tool movement from one machine to other as per machine loading capacity.
8. All other authorities to discharge above indicated duties & responsibilities effectively.

1. Experience: At last 10 years relevant
2. Experience of Making New Tools, Jig/ Fixture and Preventive Maintenance of Tools.
3. Experience of Handling Injection Molding Machine, Press & Die Casting machine.
4. Skill: Supervisory Skill, Leadership, Strong interpersonal skill, organized and Good communication skills.
5. Age: 32 - 45 years
6. Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably specialization in Tool & Die Making)
7. Training: Jig/fixture design/manufacturing, ISO/TS 16949:2002
